Who We Are
At Slater Development, we blend a rich family legacy with extensive industry expertise to create exceptional residential and commercial spaces. What distinguishes Slater Development is our in-depth knowledge of construction. Our legacy is embodied in our lineage: our great-grandfather was a mason, our grandfather a contractor, and our father a builder and developer. This heritage informs our approach and fuels our passion for the trade. Founded in 1957, our company is now led by Jordan Slater, who brings a wealth of experience and insight. Jordan has expertly managed a diverse range of projects, from custom residential homes to prestigious commercial ventures and large-scale retail rollouts, ensuring that Slater Development remains at the forefront of innovation while upholding our core values.
In 2025, Bret and Hayden Slater officially joined the family business, bringing fresh perspectives, valuable resources, and a steadfast commitment to excellence. Their varied experiences enhance our team’s extensive background, allowing us to expand our offerings into new commercial and residential projects, as well as investment and development opportunities.
At Slater Development, our philosophy centers on delivering exceptional work we take pride in, while fostering relationships built on trust and transparency. We prioritize timely project delivery and strict budget adherence, ensuring our clients receive outstanding value and satisfaction. We uphold the tradition of constructing custom homes and unique, timeless commercial projects through collaborations with the finest craftsmen and subcontractors, while actively engaging with architects, designers, and landscapers involved in our projects.
We are more than builders at Slater Development; we are dedicated professionals passionate about delivering high-quality projects that stand the test of time. We take pride in our reputation for integrity and excellence, and we look forward to partnering with you to bring your vision to life.
